A.S. / J.M remix collab series vol.2.TADAOMI SHIBUYA

A.S./J.M REMIXED COLLAB SERIES:

Aerosoul Limited is a true British streetwear institution. Ever since the cult-classic film Human Traffic immortalised the brand’s ‘Junglist Movement’ T-shirts, Aerosoul has built a reputation for producing quality, desirable products that effortlessly bridge the synergetic worlds of fashion and music. In terms of both design and message, Aerosoul’s ‘Junglist Movement’ Tees have become truly iconic since they first appeared over a decade ago. The popularity of these ubiquitous Tees has never waned, earning their distinct design a status as an enduring and timeless fashion statement. Now, as we hurtle head-on into a new decade, Aerosoul founder Leke Adesoye has decided to commission reworkings of his classic design for the new generation of streetwear aficionados. The ‘A.S./J.M. Remixed Collab Series’ calls on the talents of two highly regarded and distinctive illustrators to re-interpret the ‘Junglist Movement’ motif for the first two volumes in a new and exciting range.‘Volume One’ comes courtesy of the UK’s Mitchy (famed for his previous designs for Addict, Supreme Being and WeSC), while ‘Volume Two’ is the work of Japan’s Tadaomi Shibuya, whose striking, street-centric geometric artistry has adorned magazine covers, billboards for brands such as Becks , Givenchy and North Face over recent years. Leke says of the two designers:

“They’re two of my favourite artists in the game, so it’s an honour to be working with them both and to have them onboard the soultrain remixing my original design in their own distinctive styles.”Both Volumes of the ‘A.S./J.M. Remixed Collab Series’ will be released in strict limited editions, with only five colours available for each design. The range has a vibrant colour skeme that transcends the Aerosoul primary colour ethos. The A.S. /J.M. remixed range fuses street art with music to redefine the teeshirt as a canvas to create art.
